SUBMISSIONS
All information submitted to Credit Union via this site shall be deemed and remain the property of the Credit Union and Credit Union shall be free to use, for any purpose, any idea, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in information a visitor to this site provides Credit Union through this site. Credit Union shall not be subject to any obligations of confidentiality regarding submitted information except as agreed by the Credit Union or as otherwise specifically agreed or required by law. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting or reducing Credit Union's responsibilities and obligations to its members in accordance with the Wright Patman Congressional Federal Credit Union's Privacy Notice.
SECURITY
Credit Union may assign to each member authorized to conduct business on this web site a unique User ID ("User ID") and a corresponding password and/or other access codes ("Access Code") to enable the member to access and use such functions within the Sites as member shall authorize. Member shall (i) maintain, (ii) take appropriate steps to ensure that anyone to whom it gives the User ID or Access Code ("Authorized User") maintains, and (iii) inform any Authorized User of member's obligation to maintain, the confidentiality of User IDs and Access Codes and the security of the Sites. Member shall not permit any person other than an Authorized User to access or use the Sites on its behalf or to use any User ID or Access Code and shall educate and familiarize those Authorized Users who access and/or use the Sites with member's obligations under this Agreement. Member acknowledges and agrees that member and/or its Authorized User may access the Sites through the World Wide Web or other Internet service which is not necessarily secure, and Credit Union does not warrant that such system is secure. Member agrees to be bound by all communications (and the consequences thereof) placed on, executed through or facilitated by the Sites that are accompanied by a valid User ID and a valid Access Code assigned to member or an Authorized User. Upon becoming aware of, or if member suspects, a technical failure or any improper access to or use of the Sites or Access Codes by any Authorized User or other person, member shall promptly notify Credit Union of such occurrence, and shall, as promptly as practicable, to the extent any improper access or use is by an Authorized User, take immediate actions to terminate such Authorized User's access to and use of the Sites. Credit Union reserves the right to limit or terminate member's or any Authorized User's access to and use of the Sites immediately and without notice.
CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (COPPA)
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) was passed to give parents increased control over what information is collected from their children online and how such information is used. The law applies to websites and services directed to, and which knowingly collect information from children under 13.
